I intend to redevelop this blog when I have time.
There will be a new focus: readers don't seem too interested in most of the gaming topics I've posted (with the exception of the game Portal when it was made available for free for a limited time) so I will cut down on the number of gaming-related posts I am making and focus on web and application development projects instead, including what I'm working on here at Wikidot.
As a result of this the theme also needs to be changed. I'm tired of the purple theme being used now - not only is it unprofessional, but I could do a lot better. My intent is to pay for someone else to design a unique theme for me - unlike this one which was taken from the Wikidot Themes site - and then I'll continue tinkering with it myself and making minor modifications as they're required.
What I'd like to know is why you are reading this post right now - what has brought you to my blog? Are there any specific topics you enjoyed reading about and you'd like me to cover more often in future? Which posts are your favourite, and which did you find the most informative?
I'm here because I watch your blog and get email notifications. I like some of the obscure "finds" you have blogged about in the past - the little tips and tricks that you dig up from time to time. I think we have a lot of common interests in geekworld and that's why I like to read your stuff.
I fall into the category of not much of a gamer, so I won't miss those posts. That said, I'm not selfish enough that it bothers me either - you just won't get many comments from me. But… I am enough of a gamer that I like a great find like Portal. Now I'm contradicting myself! :)
The bottom line is that I generally enjoy your posts and that's why I watch this site. If you're measuring your success based on the volume of comments your posts generate, you'll get more out of me on non-gaming posts.

Thanks for the feedback.
Yes, I'm measuring success based on the number of replies and the number of people that rate each post up.
Speaking of page ratings, I've just noticed a new blue information icon next to the rating stars. When clicked it provides some interesting statistics such as the most popular posts of all time, and for the current week and month. As my last post was two months ago there isn't anything listed in those sections yet :)
I suppose that is one of the bonuses of using PollDaddy! :)

Why am I here? I'm avoiding study! Oh, and an email popped up in my inbox.
What would I like to see? I'd love to tap into that vast knowledge of wikidot you have to learn some new tricks. And the odd reference to a cool gadget or two never hurts. I'm not much of a gamer, but like Ed, gaming-related posts don't bother me either.
In the end basically anything that I can read to avoid study is good, and it's even better when I can pass it off as 'learning to enhance my wikidot skills'.
Cheers,
Bryce

I'm just like you - anything to avoid studying :) Procrastination is one of those habits that you know you need to get rid of, but deep down you don't want to as studying all the time is boooring.
As a CSS designer, I assume you know about the Zen Garden? It really is amazing what pure CSS can do!
